Our Statement of Faith
Welcome to the foundational beliefs that unite us as a community of faith. These truths, rooted in Scripture, guide our worship, shape our mission, and anchor our hope in Jesus Christ.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible—both Old and New Testaments—is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Every word of Scripture comes to us through divine inspiration, breathing life and truth into our understanding of God and His purposes for humanity.
Scripture alone serves as our final authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. Through its pages, God reveals Himself, His redemptive plan, and His will for our lives. We approach the Bible with reverence, knowing it is fully trustworthy and entirely sufficient to equip us for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 (ESV)
[16] All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Peter 1:20–21 (ESV)
[20] knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. [21] For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
The Nature of God
We worship one sovereign God who eternally exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This profound mystery of the Trinity reveals that God is eternally one in essence yet exists in three persons who are co-equal, co-eternal, and fully divine.
God the Father
The sovereign Creator and sustainer of all things, who loves His children and works all things according to His perfect will.
God the Son
Jesus Christ, eternally begotten of the Father, who became flesh to redeem humanity through His sacrificial death and resurrection.
God the Spirit
The Holy Spirit who indwells believers, convicts of sin, empowers for service, and transforms us into Christ's likeness.
This triune God exists in perfect unity and love, inviting us into relationship with Him and calling us to reflect His glory in the world.
Deuteronomy 6:4 (ESV)
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one."
Matthew 28:19 (ESV)
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
2 Corinthians 13:14 (ESV)
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Jesus Christ: Our Savior and Lord
Jesus Christ stands at the center of our faith and the heart of God's redemptive plan. As the eternal Son of God, He took on human flesh, becoming fully God and fully man. Born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, perfectly fulfilling God's law and revealing the Father's character through His teachings and miracles.
Through His substitutionary death on the cross, Jesus bore the penalty for our sins, satisfying divine justice and opening the way for reconciliation with God. His bodily resurrection on the third day conquered death and validated His claims to deity, offering hope of eternal life to all who believe.
Isaiah 9:6 (ESV)
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
John 1:14 (ESV)
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
1 Corinthians 15:3–4 (ESV)
[3] For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, [4] that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures
Acts 1:11 (ESV)
“Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, fully God and actively at work in the world and in the hearts of believers. His ministry encompasses the entire scope of Christian life, from the moment of conversion through our growth in holiness and service to Christ.
Conviction
The Spirit opens blind eyes to the reality of sin, righteousness, and judgment, drawing people to repentance and faith in Christ.
Regeneration
He brings spiritual rebirth, creating new life in those who believe and permanently indwelling every believer from the moment of salvation.
Empowerment
The Spirit empowers believers for holy living, enabling us to overcome sin and grow in Christlike character day by day.
Gifting
He distributes spiritual gifts to each believer for the edification of the church and the advancement of God's kingdom.
Unity
The Spirit unites all believers into one body, the Church, transcending human divisions and creating genuine Christian community.
Through the Spirit's ongoing work, believers are sealed for the day of redemption, guided into all truth, and equipped to bear witness to Christ's transforming power.
John 16:8 (ESV)
And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment
Romans 8:11 (ESV)
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
1 Corinthians 12:13 (ESV)
For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
Ephesians 4:30 (ESV)
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Created Yet Fallen
Humanity was created in the image of God, designed for relationship with our Creator and endowed with dignity, purpose, and moral responsibility. Yet through sin, we became separated from God, spiritually dead, and unable to save ourselves through our own efforts or goodness.
Genesis 1:26 (ESV)
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness"
Romans 3:23 (ESV)
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 6:23a (ESV)
For the wages of sin is death…
Salvation by Grace Alone
Salvation is the gracious gift of God, received not through human works or merit, but through faith in Jesus Christ alone. When we place our trust in Christ's finished work on the cross, God graciously forgives our sins, declares us righteous through Christ's righteousness, and grants us new life through the Holy Spirit.

Romans 6:23b (ESV)
but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8–10 (ESV)
[8] For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, [9] not a result of works, so that no one may boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Galatians 2:16 (ESV)
yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
1 John 3:1 (ESV)
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
The Church: Christ's Body on Earth
The universal Church consists of all true believers in Jesus Christ across time and geography, united as one body under Christ our Head. This invisible, spiritual reality transcends denominational boundaries, cultural differences, and historical periods, binding together everyone who has been redeemed by Christ's blood.
The Universal Church
Every person who has genuinely trusted in Christ becomes part of His body, the Church. We are united by one Spirit, share one Lord, and pursue one faith. This mystical union creates genuine spiritual family relationships that supersede earthly distinctions.
  • One body with Christ as Head
  • All believers across all time
  • United by the Holy Spirit
  • Transcends human divisions
The Local Church
God calls believers to gather in local congregations for mutual edification, accountability, and mission. The local church exists to worship God, make disciples, serve one another in love, and proclaim the gospel to the world.
  • Corporate worship and prayer
  • Biblical teaching and discipleship
  • Fellowship and mutual care
  • Gospel proclamation and mission
Through the local church, believers exercise their spiritual gifts, bear one another's burdens, celebrate God's faithfulness, and participate in fulfilling Christ's Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.
1 Corinthians 12:12–13 (ESV)
[12] For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. [13] For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
Ephesians 4:4–6 (ESV)
[4] There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— [5] one Lord, one faith, one baptism, [6] one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Our Mission: Living and Proclaiming the Gospel
Every believer is called to participate in God's mission of redemption. We are salt and light in the world, called to both proclaim and demonstrate the transforming power of the gospel through our words and actions.
Proclaim with Words
We speak the truth of the gospel clearly and compassionately, sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ with those who do not yet know Him. Our proclamation is bold yet gracious, truthful yet loving.
Demonstrate with Actions
Our lives serve as living testimonies to Christ's transforming power. Through acts of love, mercy, and justice, we make the gospel visible, caring for the poor, comforting the hurting, and serving our communities.
Embody Grace and Truth
Following Christ's example, we hold firm to biblical truth while extending grace to all people. We refuse to compromise God's Word while demonstrating the same mercy we have received from Him.
This mission extends to every sphere of life—our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities. We live as ambassadors for Christ, representing His kingdom and inviting others into relationship with Him. Our mission is both local and global, caring for immediate needs while keeping eternal realities in view.
Matthew 5:13–16 (ESV)
[13] “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. [14] “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. [15] Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. [16] In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 28:19–20 (ESV)
[19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Our Hope: Christ's Return and Eternal Reign
Our faith rests not only in what Christ has done but also in what He will do. We live in confident expectation of His return, when He will consummate His kingdom, judge the living and the dead, and establish His eternal reign of righteousness and peace.
His Coming
Christ will return visibly and gloriously, fulfilling every promise and completing the work of redemption He began at the cross.
New Creation
God will create new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells, restoring all things and dwelling among His people forever.
Eternal Joy
Believers will experience the fullness of God's presence, perfect fellowship, and eternal joy in the kingdom that has no end.
This hope transforms how we live today. We invest in what matters eternally, endure present trials with patient faith, and serve Christ knowing our labor is not in vain. The promise of His return motivates holiness, fuels mission, and sustains us through suffering.
2 Peter 3:13 (ESV)
But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
Revelation 21:1–4 (ESV)
[1] Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. [2] And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. [4] He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
Until that glorious day, we live as citizens of heaven, eagerly anticipating our Savior's return and the consummation of all God's redemptive purposes.
Our Church Governance and Autonomy
Our church operates under the ultimate authority of Jesus Christ as Lord and Head of the Church. We maintain self-governance, free from outside ecclesiastical control, while remaining committed to cooperation with biblically aligned ministries and churches that share our commitment to gospel truth.
This ecclesiastical autonomy is both a spiritual conviction and a constitutional right, protected under the United States and Arizona Constitutions. Our independence allows us to remain faithful to Scripture and responsive to the Holy Spirit's leading without external interference.
Christ's Lordship
We recognize Jesus Christ alone as the Head of the Church, submitting all decisions and practices to His authority revealed in Scripture.
Self-Governance
Our congregation makes its own decisions regarding doctrine, leadership, ministry, and mission without outside ecclesiastical control.
Biblical Cooperation
We joyfully partner with churches and ministries that share our biblical convictions, working together for the advancement of God's kingdom.
Constitutional Protection
Our autonomy is safeguarded by law, ensuring our freedom to worship, teach, and minister according to our biblical convictions.

These foundational beliefs unite us as a community of faith and guide our mission to worship God, make disciples, and serve our world in Jesus' name. We invite you to join us in living out these truths as we follow Christ together.
