V4 A Different Kind of Church Is Taking Shape in East Mesa
Our House Christian Fellowship is forming as a relational, Bible-anchored, Spirit-empowered Christian community in East Mesa, Arizona. We exist to help people know God, grow together, and live on mission—without hype, performance, or pressure.
We are a church especially for the wondering, wandering, and wounded. Many people still love Jesus but feel disillusioned with church, exhausted by religious performance, or unsure where they belong. Our House exists to be a place where faith can be rediscovered in the context of real relationships, honest conversation, and shared life.
"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly" — John 10:10
Launching January 11, 2026
Beginning January 11, we are launching Sunday morning, home-based Bible studies through the Book of Philippians, meeting from 10:00 to 12:00. These gatherings are intentionally relational and participatory, designed to help people engage Scripture deeply while building genuine Christian community.
Each gathering includes Bible teaching, guided discussion, prayer, communion, and a shared meal. Locations will rotate among homes in East Mesa as we grow from a core team into a broader community.

A Church for the Wondering, Wandering, and Wounded
Our House exists for people who may feel unseen, burned out, or disillusioned by church—but who still sense that God is not finished with them. Many in our community carry stories of faith, service, loss, and disappointment. We honor those stories and believe God meets people right where they are.
You love Jesus but feel disconnected from church
Faith remains, but institutional exhaustion is real
You have questions and want honest conversation
Doubt and curiosity are welcomed here
You are tired of feeling invisible in a crowd
Every person matters, every story is heard
You want to participate, not just attend
Community is built together, not consumed
Jesus welcomed people before they believed, healed before they understood, and walked patiently with those still figuring things out. We seek to follow His example.
Our Discipleship Pathway
Belong → Believe → Become
Discipleship at Our House is relational, grace-filled, and intentional. We do not rush people through programs or pressure them into conformity. Instead, we walk together through three movements that reflect how Jesus formed His disciples.
Belong
Finding family before having all the answers
Believe
Discovering faith through Scripture, conversation, and shared life
Become
Growing into maturity, purpose, and mission as followers of Christ

This pathway shapes everything we do, from gatherings to leadership development to mission in the community.
Kingdom Realists
Living Faithfully in the Tension
We describe ourselves as Kingdom Realists. We believe Jesus Christ reigns now, His Kingdom is present and advancing, and history is moving toward His promised return and the renewal of all things.
Rather than retreating from culture or arguing endlessly over end-times timelines, we focus on living faithfully in the present.
Our theology fuels mission
Belief translates into action in the world
Humility over certainty
We hold convictions with open hands
Hope anchors everything
Christ's return gives meaning to today

Readiness matters more than speculation, and faithfulness today matters more than predicting tomorrow.
